This course is designed to provide employees, trustees, auditors and directors of not for profit organisations such as charities and credit unions with a comprehensive review of their rights and responsibilities and fiduciary duty with respect to the investment of surplus funds. The course will cover the legal and common law requirements; the principals of investing; appropriate investment strategies; and the accounting for investments in charities.
