ACCA Ireland Business Leaders' Forum

Ms Josephine Feehily, chairman of the Revenue Commissioners, was guest speaker at the ACCA Ireland Business Leaders Forum in the Four Seasons Hotel, Dublin on Thursday 17 September.

At the Forum, Ms Feehily said that the Commission and ACCA Ireland had a shared interest in promoting sound business practices, sustainable business development and high-performing organisations.   Said Ms Feehily, “Revenue is determined, notwithstanding scarce resources, to maintain its key customer service and compliance programmes in the current economic climate.  Revenue expects businesses to keep a clear focus on tax compliance and where viable businesses have temporary cash flow difficulties they should come and talk to us before the problem gets out of hand.”, She continued.

“Revenue has modernised and transformed itself in recent times and I welcome the opportunity to share these experiences with ACCA Ireland members and to have an exchange of views about the challenges of successful change which are common to both private and public sectors.” She continued.
